Basics/Backstory

Growing up trans in a tribe of Keepers of the Moon was interesting for Alli; on one hand, they were largely accepting of her declared gender, but on the other, there were some aspects of tribe leadership that...whether inadvertent or not, she was still excluded from, even after she started taking the hormone potions she got from Ind'hii (a whole separate story - it was her first time away from the tribe, and Mor Dhona was...overwhelmingly busy at that time, which she didn't really know how to cope with). Rather than keep putting up with the status quo, she decided to try and make her way in the world as a fresh-faced adventurer.She started out as a lancer, following the path of the dragoon herself during the Dragonsong War. It wasn't until after that that she put down the spear and discovered that her true passion lay in the healing arts; her aptitude for white magic surprised even her, and she dove in with a passion.When the events of Stormblood began, Alli caught a boat across the sea - spending basically all the gil she had to get passage in hopes of making a way for herself when she arrived. It was in Kugane where she crossed paths with a gorgeous Midlander woman...Chiyome Naeuri. It wasn't, perhaps, love at first sight, but as their travels kept them bouncing into each other, they grew closer, and affection did eventually blossom into love - and in not too much time, the two became inseparable.Alli, it should be noted, didn't have any involvement in pretty much any of the main FFXIV storyline from about this point onwards. She was stranded in Hingashi, almost penniless, for quite some time - she had spent all of her gil in order to get there in the first place. She wanted to get back to Eorzea, sure - but on one hand, she was getting to know Chiyome better every day, and on the other, she certainly didn't have any money to pay for passage. One day, though, she finally noticed the Clan Centurio notice board, and on a whim she spoke to the clan representative there.(MORE TO COME - tldr, she makes enough money from hunting, and it becomes something of a passion, that as she returns to Eorzea and visits Sharlayan and discovers the Studium also does hunt bounties, she keeps up with this - although then, as she settles into a comfortable life, she discovers Red Moon! Gives up the effort of the hunt for what has become almost a second home for her at the venue. Or -something like that.)

Hooks

  • The Hunt: After she tried it once - honestly, at the time, out of desperation - Alli discovered that she had something of an affinity for hunting, and quickly grew to love it. She also didn't mind that it was a comfortable way to make some gil - raising her standard of living well above what she had been used to before. Up until recently, she's kept up with the Studium's hunt board, and would love to share stories from what eventually became a very happy chapter in her life.

  • That Playful Look: Alli's an inveterate prankster and punster at heart, and once you get her to open up she'd love to share the details of her latest nonsense.

  • Pastries: If you have a chance to visit Alli at home, try not to look in the cupboards. They are inexplicably stuffed with pastries and goodies of all kinds. There is a reason for this. Alli does not want to talk about it.

  • Gender Stuff: This hormonal alchemy sure is a gil-sink...but frankly, she couldn't get by without it. She's tried her hand at alchemy a number of times - even going so far as to spend some time trying to learn from Ind'hii - but her efforts there have been...comical at best, disastrous at worst.

Flavor

I do prefer to incorporate at least some flavor from Eorzea into roleplay. This means, often, working in Eorzean units of measurement, references to the Twelve or similar, etc. This also, and more importantly, means that Alli is a Miqo'te, and tail/ears/purring may feature in roleplay! Please be aware of this.

Roleplay Style

I prefer to work in 2-3 textbox posts. I try to type quickly and have a response ready in between 5 to 10 minutes (although significantly faster for conversational RP), and keep the scene moving. I really enjoy being able to "yes-and" my partner - as long as your posts help move a scene forward or you're able to communicate where you want a scene to go, I'm happy to operate within those bounds - and communicating what the goals of a scene beforehand are will really help us do that together as well.In 1:1 scenes, stylistically, I prefer to use /em for actions (narrated third-person), and /s for dedicated dialog lines. I'll use /p or tells for OOC check-ins, if necessary. In practice, this might look like:

I am able to work in other styles depending on your preference, but this is what I'm most comfortable with.In a larger group conversation, especially in a venue, I'd prefer to open a party and roleplay in party chat rather than take up air where others may want to have their own smaller conversations in /s.

The gender potions that Alli's been taking have worked great, but have had some side effects - most notably, a heat cycle. Despite being unable to get pregnant - the potions are incredible, but not that incredible, as far as she can tell - she still ends up in what can only be described as a breeding frenzy for a few days every month.(Should you wish to RP a set of pregnancy scenes, I'm extremely open to handwaving this limitation through a Strange Alchemy Mishap - let me know!)Genitals
Alli canonically has a (smaller than average) cock, but I can flex genitals in-scene based on partner preference. I have experience either way in a RP context, so please don't hesitate to say something!D/S
Alli is collared and owned by Chiyome Naeuri (this can be elided in-scene). She is normally a submissive, but does enjoy taking the dominant role in play sessions from time to time as well - and if she finds someone who looks particularly like they need a Mommy, well... (I am best at writing gentle femdom. However, this doesn't exclude pain or marking - indeed, "pain as reward/badge of honor/mark of love" is one of my absolute favorite spaces to play in!)Limits

For Alli, melee jobs are 1000% off the table - the thought of being that up close to whatever she's trying to hit is horrifying. Plus, she would never want to give up being able to support her friends better!(Also she's absolutely hopeless at alchemy. Tried a million times, can't manage even the simplest thing. One time when she used to live over in the Lavender Beds she knocked over the alembic and melted a hole right through the floor of her apartment and got kicked out.)
